By using sound forest stewardship practices in these diseased areas we increase the health and durability of the remaining trees and decrease the chance of wildfire. We take the logs and slash from these areas and grind into a usable biomass fuel. Marks Lumber working with Federal, State and Local governments and private property owners has acquired the rights to thousands of acres of these forests, guaranteeing a continuous supply of material.
